Cook – Creative & Self Motivated (Rosemont Kitchen)

We are looking for a cook for our savory foods department. The ideal candidate should be creative and self-motivated. You should be able to properly follow recipes but also be willing and able to create new products using the wide array available from Rosemont’s many sources.

This is a full time, daytime position. Must have prior cooking experience.

Some job requirements include:

  • At least one year experience in food service as a cook
  • Ability to lift 50 pound cartons or bags
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Some weekend availability
  • Strong communication skills
  • A positive attitude & an interest in people and food

Part Time Pastry Baker (Rosemont West End)

Do you love Rosemont as much as we do? Rosemont Market & Bakery is hiring a part-time pastry baker for our busy production kitchen.

We are a high-volume from-scratch bakery. We produce all of the cookies, quick breads, tea cakes and pies for our 5 Rosemont Markets. We are a shortening-free all-butter-bakery using ingredients sourced from Rosemont’s vast network of local and away growers and suppliers. Interested candidates must have some professional baking experience (though we would train the right person). Attention to detail, good communication skills and a sense of humor are also a must.

Our Pastry Team works a morning shift.

Some job requirements include:

  • Ability to lift 50 pound cartons or bags
  • At least one year experience in food service, preferably in a bakery environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours
  • A positive attitude & an interest in people and food
