Rosemont Market & Bakery is seeking friendly, food-loving individuals to join our community of friendly food-lovers. We are currently hiring for open positions in our Deli, Produce, Butcher, and Produce departments at our Brighton Ave store, Shore Rd store, West End store and in Yarmouth. Rosemont prides itself on being both a great community in which to work and also being a unique part of the greater community in which we’re located, and we are seeking people who are drawn to those connections and want to become a part of our team. For all positions we are seeking motivated & team-oriented individuals that are excited about engaging with food and their greater community.

BUTCHER:
Rosemont Butchers have the unique opportunity to work hands on with the finest locally raised meats. The whole pigs, chickens, cows, lamb and other animals that pass through our doors are broken down into cuts or processed into house-made ground meats, sausages, and deli meats – all at the hands of our talented butcher team. As a new member of the Rosemont Butcher Team, you will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best butchers in the state, working with some of the best meats in the world.

DELI:
Deli workers at Rosemont work hands on with some of the best cheeses, charcuterie, deli-meats, olives and other accoutrements that Maine has to offer. The job requires individuals to take on a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to crafting our famous sandwiches, learning and tasting through our cheese & meat selections, and connecting with and engaging our customers.

REGISTER:
Register workers at Rosemont are the heart and soul of our stores: they are the first and last people to engage with our customers and it is their energy that sets the tone for our markets. The job requires individuals to take on a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to learning about our many products, and connecting with and engaging our customers.

PRODUCE:
Produce workers at Rosemont have the unique opportunity to work with some of the best produce grown in Maine and abroad. Rosemont has established itself as the leading source of Maine produce: our six stores collectively sell more Maine-grown produce than any other retailer. The job requires individuals to take on a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to learning about, tasting through, stocking & culling our produce selection, creating produce displays, and connecting with and engaging our customers.

Production and Supply: All Positions

DELIVERY:

Our drivers hold a crucial roll in delivering some of the best, produce, bread, pastries, meats and prepared foods in Maine to our six stores. Individuals who are interested in connecting to Maine’s local food scene, visiting with folks at all of our locations, work well as part of a team and have a clean driving record thrive as part of our warehouse team. New hires are trained in care and handling of our warehoused items as well as our vehicles.

BAKERY:

Our bread bakers are responsible for the artisan bread made fresh and sold in our stores every day. Our bakery is fast-paced but run with a communal atmosphere. All bakery employees have the opportunity to participate in every station learning everything from mixing, laminating and hand shaping. New hires are trained in all aspects of our bakery production.

SAVORY KITCHEN:

Cooks at the Rosemont central kitchen produce the Rosemont Label prepared foods sold only at our stores. Our menu is extensive and varies with the seasons. Our cooks use only the high-quality foods that can be found in our stores including local, meats, eggs and produce. New cooks start learning and producing our core recipes and later become creative contributors to our menu.

PASTRY KITCHEN:

Our pastry bakers are responsible for the pies, cakes, cookies and other treats coming out of our pastry kitchen daily. All Rosemont pastry products are made from scratch by hand with the highest quality ingredients including local butter and fruit in season. New bakers can expect to start their training by producing products using our core recipes and eventually become creative contributors to our pastry menu.
