SUMMARY:Wine Bar Takeover with Mike Guinard from Village Imports
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Wine Bar Takeover with Mike Guinard from Village Imports as he guides us through a vertical of Rubinelli Vajol Valpolicella Ripasso. Choose the flight offering\, which will include three vintages: 2013\, 2014\, and 2015\, or select glass pours of your favorites. Amarone by the glass will also be available for guests to enjoy.  \nMost wine drinkers know Valpolicella as a light-bodied red from the Veneto in Italy. But there’s much more going on for Valpolicella Ripasso: to add more substance and depth to the wine\, winemakers utilize a traditional winemaking method called ripasso or “re-pass”. This process involves pouring the freshly-made Valpolicella over the grape must from Amarone\, the region’s most structured and dense red wine. From here\, a second fermentation is initiated and the light Valpolicella absorbs some of the Amarone’s character.
