This Week's Fresh Picks

From the people who love good food, here is a sampling of the many items we are excited to share with our community this week

The Memorial Day Edition

Seasonal Produce

The first peaches of the season have arrived and they are as sweet as a spring day in May. We also have grapes, cantaloupes, cherries and strawberries.

We have made our way through the root cellar stash from last year’s harvest and are now enjoying new creamer potatoes, both red and yellow.

The long-anticipated arrival of local asparagus can now be celebrated, along with Maine-foraged fiddleheads – two of our favorite seasonal produce items (because they are always mean summer is coming soon).

From our Kitchen

Cooking outdoors brings a whole new level of joy to creating meals at home. With the weather finally cooperating for consistent grilling, our kitchen team has prepared all the accoutrements you need to compliment the mouth-watering Pineland Farms steak or fresh piece of fish from Harbor Fish Market.

If you love condiments as much as we do, you’ll be thrilled to have plenty of Rosemont-made chipotle aioli, tartar sauce, and mint tzatziki on hand to top your proteins. And, to pair with your well-dressed meat or seafood item, enjoy one of our many healthy sides or salads:

Almost Summer Sweet Potato Salad

Peanut Noodles ($1 of each sale is donated to No Kid Hungry)

Picnic Pasta Salad

Red & Green Gazpacho

Sweet & Sour Tumeric Cauliflower

German Potato Salad

Freshly Baked

Are you planning to keep it simple and delicious this weekend? We have just what you need. Our bakery team is excited to showcase our new Rosemont-made brioche hot dog rolls & hamburger buns. These next-level buns are grill-ready and will be in our markets from Thursday to Monday based on inventory. Be sure to add to your cart as soon as you see them available! These buns are best served overflowing with lobster meat, with a Rosemont made veggie burger or fish cake, or with a hand-formed hamburger made with Pineland Farms ground beef. Don’t forget the Morse’s sauerkraut and pickles,

Also, Pie!

The hardest choice you should have to make this weekend is choosing between strawberry-rhubarb or wild Maine blueberry. The best part? You actually don’t have to choose.

Because many of our products are made in small batches and many of our ingredients are seasonal, some of these items may come and go from inventory over the coming days and weeks. If an item you have requested is not available at the time your order is packed, please try again on your next order. Check back often for weekly updates on the items we are most excited to share with you.
