Julie Biet makes Touraine appellation wines from a family estate covering around 36 hectares in Seigy, in the Loire Valley, on the left bank of the Cher river. The vines are rather old for the region at around 60 years, planted on hillsides in clay-limestone soil, and the estate is certified Terra Vitis and Haute Valeur Environnementale. Now the fourth generation winemaker, Julie is making the trip to Portland to pour her wines in person. Free, no ticket needed.
