Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled
- 1 white onion, peeled and quartered
- 2 large eggs
- ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Graza Olive Oil “Sizzle” (for frying)
Instructions:
Prep Time: 1 hour
Cook Time: 1 hour
Serves: 4
- Prepare Potatoes and Onion: Grate the potatoes and onion using a food processor or box grater. Squeeze out as much liquid as possible to ensure crispy latkes.
- Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, add the grated potatoes and onions, then mix in the eggs, flour, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Fry the Latkes: In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat about ¼ inch of “Sizzle.” Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot pan, spacing each latke apart. Flatten each one gently with the back of the spoon. When the edges turn golden brown, flip and cook until both sides are evenly browned. Transfer to a paper towel-lined cooling rack and sprinkle with salt immediately.
