Stone Fruit Lemonade

  • 5-6 stone fruits (plums, pluots, nectarines, peaches), pitted
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons of water
  • 56 oz Natalie’s Lemonade

  1. Prepare the Compote:
    • Add the pitted stone fruits, sugar, lemon juice, and water to a saucepan.
    • Heat over low-medium heat and cook until the fruit breaks down into a compote and releases a lot of juice. Ensure the sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Strain the Compote:
    • Using a colander, strain the fruit mixture, reserving the liquid juice into a pitcher. Set aside the remaining compote.
  3. Mix the Lemonade:
    • Fill the remainder of your pitcher with Natalie’s Lemonade.
  4. Serve:
    • Stir well and serve chilled.

Additional Tip:

  • The remaining compote can be used as a delicious topping for vanilla ice cream for dessert!
