Stone Fruit Lemonade
Ingredients:
- 5-6 stone fruits (plums, pluots, nectarines, peaches), pitted
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 tablespoons of water
- 56 oz Natalie’s Lemonade
Instructions:
- Prepare the Compote:
- Add the pitted stone fruits, sugar, lemon juice, and water to a saucepan.
- Heat over low-medium heat and cook until the fruit breaks down into a compote and releases a lot of juice. Ensure the sugar dissolves completely.
- Strain the Compote:
- Using a colander, strain the fruit mixture, reserving the liquid juice into a pitcher. Set aside the remaining compote.
- Mix the Lemonade:
- Fill the remainder of your pitcher with Natalie’s Lemonade.
- Serve:
- Stir well and serve chilled.
Additional Tip:
- The remaining compote can be used as a delicious topping for vanilla ice cream for dessert!
